Join us as a presenter for the MNAFEE Annual Conference.

Deadline extended to February 5. Submit a proposal now.

As the premier event for early childhood education professionals, we welcome hundreds of participants each year – including ECFE teachers, classroom assistants, preschool teachers, program coordinators, parenting educators, home visitors, and others who support families with young children ages birth to grade 3.

The goal of the committee is to have a conference that will address the needs of current and future program administrators and practitioners.

The planning committee is working towards a balanced program that examines current issues. Topics of interest that have been suggested by members include:
  • Diversity and social justice.
  • Advocacy - what's new at the capitol.
  • Child development - newest research.
  • Technology - engaging your audience.
  • Technology - new tips and tricks.
  • Outreach to build your participation.
  • Developing community partnerships.
  • Connecting with other ECFE programs.
  • Equalizing special education services.
  •  Non-traditional program delivery.
  • Pre-K to grade 3 implementation projects.
  •  Post-pandemic outreach

"Last year was my first time attending the MNAFEE conference and I'm excited to come back again this year! Our staff has found it so beneficial that we actually schedule no school on those days, so even our preschool assistants can attend every other year and we don't have to worry about finding subs. It is a great bonding time for our staff outside of normal school hours and gives us some fun new ideas to incorporate into our classrooms."
