MNAFEE Joins 150+ Advocates at the Capitol to go “All In For Our Kids”

ST. PAUL, MN – On Wednesday, March 25, the Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda was filled with energy as MNAFEE joined over 150 parents, educators, and advocates for Advocacy Day at the Capitol. While organized by a broad coalition of early childhood champions, MNAFEE was proud to have a strong presence, standing side-by-side with partners to urge legislators to go “All In For Our Kids!”

For over 20 years, this annual event has served as a vital platform for those who care for Minnesota’s youngest learners. This year was no different. Our team participated in a powerful morning rally followed by an afternoon of letter-writing and direct engagement with legislators.

“It was inspiring to see such a diverse group of voices - from veteran educators to first-time parent advocates - unite under one roof,” said Gretchen Dullinger. “MNAFEE’s mission is rooted in supporting families and early childhood professionals, and there is no better place to do that than right here at the Capitol.”

The day focused on ensuring that early childhood education remains a top priority in the 2026 legislative session. By sharing personal stories and professional expertise, MNAFEE members helped remind policymakers that the foundation for Minnesota’s future starts with our littlest Minnesotans.

ECFE Day at the Capitol 2025

What an incredible day advocating for our youngest learners! Last Friday, February 28, at ECFE Day at the Capitol, early childhood educators, parents, and supporters from across Minnesota gathered to share our stories and highlight the critical importance of Early Childhood Family Education programs.

The energy was contagious as we connected with fellow advocates and made our voices heard! One of the highlights was watching legislators read stories to children as they closed out this special day.

A huge thank you to the MNAFEE Advocacy Committee for their tireless work organizing this impactful event. Your dedication to early childhood education makes a difference for families across our state!

Next ECFE Day at the Capitol is February 23, 2027. We'll share updates and details as they're announced!
