Census 2030 and Minnesota’s Youngest Children
MNAFEE is pleased to share an upcoming learning opportunity from the Minnesota Prenatal to Three Coalition and Minnesotans for the American Community Survey & Census 2030 (MACS 2030).
Young children under age 5 are among the most undercounted populations in Minnesota. Census data help determine funding for programs and services that support children and families, including WIC, SNAP, schools, community health, and other local resources.
Because MNAFEE members work directly with young children and families, the Coalition has identified MNAFEE as a Trusted Partner that can help share accurate information with families and communities as Census 2030 approaches.
Upcoming Information Session
The Minnesota Prenatal to Three Coalition and MACS 2030 are inviting MNAFEE members and other Trusted Partners to an online informational session focused on the undercount of young children, why census data matter, and how professionals who work with families can serve as Trusted Messengers.
