MNAFEE teamed with the Jeffers Foundation.

MNAFEE teamed with the Jeffers Foundation to bring nature-based learning to every corner of Minnesota. Participants learned how to build educator, parent, and care-giver enthusiasm for bringing early childhood education into the outdoor classroom. Experts from Jeffers offered insights to build observational skills and love of nature-based learning. Participants were introduced to Team Teaching with Mother Nature and learned about Jeffers resources.
The afternoon session focused on parent education with an interactive sessions facilitated by Darcy Rodriguez and Katy Smith.

2018 MNAFEE Fall Regional Workshops gave coordinators a chance to connect

Attendees said,
“I received many comments from those attending that they really appreciated having a chance to connect with other coordinators. Many of the participants were discussing similar challenges and sharing information about where they can find resources.”
“Many of us utilize wiki site information but were shown how to go further into the website and we learned a lot!"
Thank you, Sara Chovan, Mike Brown, and Betty Uehling, for facilitating - and thank you to our participants for sharing your wisdom and experience!
